An open door lets your friends know where you’ll be. An invitation asks the people you pick. Either way, a plan reaches the people you chose, and goes further only if you let it.
WHEN A PLAN LEAVES THE APP
A link opens Derby, not the plan.
Send a plan’s link anywhere. Whoever opens it on the web learns that someone shared a plan on Derby, and nothing else: no title, time, place or guest list. In Derby, they see the plan only if it’s theirs to see.
The host can also send a one-use invite. Whoever uses it first becomes their friend on Derby and is invited.
